1. About FindMyNyumba

FindMyNyumba is an online platform that connects students looking for housing with landlords and student hosts offering accommodation in Zambia. We act as an intermediary and are not party to any rental agreements between users.

2. Eligibility

To use FindMyNyumba, you must:

• Be at least 16 years of age
• Provide accurate and truthful information when registering
• Be a student, landlord, or property manager in Zambia
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must not share your account with others or allow others to use your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

4. Listing Rules for Landlords

Landlords who post properties on FindMyNyumba agree to:

• Only list properties they own or have legal authority to rent
• Provide accurate descriptions, photos, and pricing
• Not post duplicate or misleading listings
• Respond to student inquiries in a timely manner
• Not charge students for inquiries or viewings

5. Prohibited Activities

You may not use FindMyNyumba to:

• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent listings
• Harass, threaten, or harm other users
• Collect personal data from other users without consent
• Use the platform for any illegal activity
• Spam or send unsolicited commercial messages
• Impersonate other individuals or organizations

6. Payments & Transactions

FindMyNyumba does not process rental payments. All financial transactions are between students and landlords directly. We strongly advise users to never pay rent or deposits before viewing a property in person and verifying ownership.

7. Disclaimer of Liability

FindMyNyumba provides a platform for connecting users but does not guarantee the accuracy of listings, the conduct of users, or the outcome of any rental agreement. We are not liable for any disputes, damages, or losses arising from interactions between users on the platform.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on FindMyNyumba, including the logo, design, and text, is owned by FindMyNyumba and protected by copyright. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any content without written permission.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these terms or engage in behaviour that harms other users or the platform. You may also delete your account at any time by contacting us.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of FindMyNyumba after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the new terms. We will notify registered users of significant changes via email.
